Hardly used. Years ago, Sargent made a small rabbeting block plane, No. 507. It’s a great design, handy as a block plane and wider than most rabbet planes, making it easy to trim tenons to fit. Blade bedded at 12°. Non-adjustable mouth, 1¾" (4.44cm) overall width, 6¼" (15.87cm) long, unbreakable Ductile Iron body. Bronze cap, 1/8" (3.17mm)thick blade, body ground flat and square to .001" (.0254mm). Our Rabbet Block plane comes with a circular A-2 nicker, which protrudes by .010" on both sides of the plane and can be retracted by rotating until the flat section is at the bottom.

No. 51 Shoot Board Plane This single purpose plane is designed to trim miters and other end grain cuts on a shooting board. Stanley first made its version in 1909 along with a metal shooting board. We have had requests for this tool over the years, so we are pleased to announce that it is now available. Our version of this tool utilizes our standard 2 3/8" Bench Plane Blade and Frog, and is heavier than the original. It is 15" long, 3 9/16" wide, with a shoulder height of 2 1/8", and is just over 9 pounds. The frog is skewed to the sole at a 20 degree angle. Will fit the original Stanley 52 Chute Board.

All drawer liners in very good, used condition - small center drawer has no liner. Liner in drawer with divider is loose in a couple spots. Exterior paint finish is great all around, a couple very tiny chips on the lid. Typical scuffs and scratches on the bottom and the front lid. This is a nice example of Geo. Bishops No. 8 crosscut saw 8 pt 26 in. This saw has been hand sharpened and performs very well. It is 2 5/8 at the toe and 6 3/4 in front of the handle. The etch on this saw is very strong and the blade is nice and bright with just a little dark staining. The handle has a dark grain running through it and it is very solid. The hardware has been cleaned and looks good. The teeth were sharpened at a 12 deg. rake angle and a 25 deg. fleam angle. I don't know how old the saw is, but you can find it's minimum age online if you look. I ship to the 48 states via USPS priority mail at 4 lbs. Payment is expected within 3 days of auctions end. Up for auction we have a pretty RARE Stanley No.62 low angle plane. This one is in great shape for its age. It has a very nice sweetheart blade. Blade logo dates it 1922-35. Handles are very nice rosewood that are complete and not cracked. Bottom is free of stress cracks. Very nice example for your collection. Weights 3.40lbs and measures 14" long.
